"Painting the Landscape in Oils", This is an all inclusive workshop with rooms and meals at the Blue Heron Lodge.

Perry will work with students at all levels to create landscapes in oils in our spacious, northern-light studio overlooking Lake Martin. Tables, chairs, and easels will be available for all. We will concentrate on the importance of composition and John Carlson's four planes of value.

The Friends of Dadeville in concert with the Dadeville Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring the 4th Annual "Spirit of a Hometown Christmas Parade" scheduled for December 10, 2017 in downtown Dadeville. This annual event features a wide variety of floats and parade participants, arts and craft booths, a children's venue, food booths and, more importantly, Santa Claus.  It is one of Dadeville's most important events and is designed to bring together all facets of our diverse community.  If you would like to have a booth, join in the parade or simply need additional information, please contact the Dadeville Area Chamber of Commerce at 256-825-4019.

National Fishing and Boating Week (NFBW) - A national celebration of fishing and boating. Coinciding with most state's free fishing days, NFBW occurs each year during the first full week of June.

The races on Lake Guntersville will be held in Spring Creek, which is a part of the lake near many of the city's restaurants, stores, and entities.

Boats decorated with flags with an Independence Day theme parade from Kowaliga Marina to Childrens Harbor. Judging takes place and awards are given for the most decorated boats in different categories.

Fireworks at dark in the Kowaliga Bay area of Lake Martin. This annual event is one of the best fireworks shows in the southeast.
